/vt/ only exists and is popular because discussions outside are forcefully sanitized and hyper-enforced, leaving no room for unfiltered discussion. Anime and video games don't suffer this same draconian enforcement, so as big as /a/ and /v/ are, they can be casually dismissed because nothing is censored outside. You can be as contrarian as you like and no one will punish you for it, but for some reason, it's hyper taboo in vtubing.

I'm not certain exactly, but I think the reason is probably because MyHoloTV is a muslim SEA company that can be pretty restrictive because of that, and also because of that she doesn't have much connection with her own coworkers and isn't allowed to interact as much as she would've liked with other people she likes such as Sena Bonbon of Flvr.

I don't get the hate this place has towards /here/ tubers.
This place isn't that special, it's just another social media website similar to twitter, reddit etc. the anonymity and reduced moderation simply develops this place into a completely different culture, but at the end of the day 4chan is still a social media site.

This is not that different from big Youtubers checking their subreddit for memes, corpo VTubers getting material to show on their streams from fans on twitter, or anything like that.
Some chuubas are just not big enough to have fanbases outside of /here/ so this is literally the only place they have fans talking about them. It's only natural that they would visit /here/ and read what people are writing about them. Naturally due to the different rules on Youtube they have to take some precautions and censorship, but considering how many chuubas have revealed themselves to be /here/ and faced almost zero backlash, it's really not that big of a deal.

Your little "containment" site hasn't been "contained" since it reached mainstream American news. Anyone on the internet for long enough knows about it.
No one on twitter gets mad about someone browsing hashtags on stream, redditors don't complain about streamers browsing their subreddit for memes, why is it that 4chan is the only site where so many retards complain about this?
