Otsonny!! Ah... my man. There's a joke, there's a joke taken too far, and then there's a horse that's six feet under that you dig up and desecrate its corpse. This stream was not, in fact, him eating lead live on-air like I thought it might be, though he killed a bit of his dignity by acknowledging the joke. Instead of ignoring it, he recalled the incident in excruciating detail, practically a play-by-play... he outwardly takes it in stride but you could also hear his voice dripping with sarcasm over the inability of both his fanbase and nijien as a whole to let a joke die. Finana still can't escape eggs and it's been over two years by now, everyone has (or will have) that one incident and "my woman" is probably better than negir. As for the billboard... maybe it's a bit much, I personally don't find it THAT funny since I already disliked briskadets' affinity for dead jokes but at least everyone else seems to think it's hilarious, and all publicity is good publicity right? H-hopefully everyone can have their fun and we can put this to rest for another year after today... though vanta calling pomu milady on the anniversary is a little funny. Anyhow, sonny was brave for even wanting to stream today, and after vowing that this will probably be the first and only time he will publicly acknowledge his fuckup in such detail he decided to try and forget about his troubles by booting up some zomboid. Man he's been busy on there lately... he intends on joining the "hardcore" collab later (with POV) so today was mostly a way for him to do a little prep, not that it went as intended. After some technical difficulties he decided to set out, I forget exactly where he was going but I believe he wanted to try and go back to the same town he went to with alban? ...Also the katana is unfortunately lost. He's got an alarm clock in-game though, that's kinda neat, AND he was able to fuel up right from a gas station for the first time. He talked about wanting to have some more self-preservation now that they've got some established resources and all that, but that didn't really pan out either. Next three hours consisted of him getting some good shit and fucking dying on the way home. Sound familiar? Despite the insurmountable stress he causes himself in this game I quite missed solo zomboid considering it's not a bad zatsu game. Outside of the obvious he did talk some about for honor this morning, which I did catch last night. It was a pretty goofy collab, he mentioned that he went in not expecting how technical the game would be (despite doing a couple tutorials beforehand), which I don't think he was alone in. Zali, vanta, and doppio to an extent were quite competent, often leaving the others somewhat exasperated KEK... It's pretty funny that they didn't allow krisis to be on the same team. It was a pretty messy collab since the lack of skill made it hard to strategize or RP, but I dunno, I still had fun watching it. At least sonny could snag a couple wins by being on the cracked boys' team at the end there, and yes, forcing the newbies to duel was pretty funny. The senpais' hazing attempt failed because they were too good at the game, interesting way to make up for it. Back in zomboid, it's funny how much his cars were giving him hell, though the first death was after zombies somehow got into the clinic he was looting, wew he was mad. He did some more cooking and went back to retrieve his shit, fighting through the dark and the morning fog... also random but when he was talking about the ed edd n eddy jawbreakers, so nostalgic. I'm sorry they did not live up to your expectations irl sonny. He got bit again and realized maybe his underweight build wasn't the best choice (architects win today), but managed to make it home with his initial D cars... and after some housekeeping promptly took a healthy dosage of chlorox to put himself to sleep. GG, sonny, GG. Hopefully the collab goes somewhat better for him and everyone can find somewhere cool to raid. He decided to play a bit of the funny bike game afterwards to cool down which was fun, glad to hear he's been playing some more SF6 offstream, with shu no less. I saw all the shuri art... lucky motherfucker. Did some of the challenges in lonely mountains and I believe he finally unlocked every trail today which is pretty neat. The time trials are funny to watch, he'd zoom out of a checkpoint over and over trying to shortcut as best he could without dying— speedrun when? Despite being kind of "finished" with the game, he has bikes to unlock and challenges to complete so I'm sure he'll still be back. In the meantime, he's been a bit busy IRL again so no schedule graphic, but he spoke about a tentative schedule (which I'll just link here >>54906741). I lived in an apartment with 5 other collge kids for 4 years and I've seen people boil rice with a random amount of water on the stove sometimes too much and she drains it out with a colander and sometimes too little she adds water to it and stirs, which always results in mushy rice no matter the water amount. 5/10 is fair but anybody who can actually cook meat will never be anywhere below that. Vox can actually prepare red meat and chicken and both of those scare newbie chefs like crazy because of the risk of food poisoning and whatnot. Every newbie chef I know doesn’t touch preparing meat for themselves or nukes it until it’s beyond well done and Vox is actually capable of preparing meat below medium well. I cooked that steak and eggs recipe he did for his first cooking stream and, with the amount of time given in the recipe, it was a good medium. I suppose the gripe I have with vox is how much he boasts about his cooking skills where really he is just average at best. I started cooking quite young because my mother is the kind of person to microwave a boiled egg and can somehow fuck up instant noodles so I'm a bit more nitpicky about cooking skills. He lives alone and boys (in the western world at least) generally aren’t expected to learn how to cook nor are they necessarily taught how to by their parents while they’re growing up so I really don’t think Vox overcooking some vegetables or anything is the end of the world. He’s obviously still learning and desu I respect anybody who can at least put themselves out there much more than I respect the people who try something once, sulk when they’re not instant experts at it, and wallow in self-doubt for pity points.
