This. Mouth tracking shouldn't take a downgrade with a new rig and her face is so different it feels like a different character almost. I think the main issue is that a rigger who isn't the vtuber themselves likely isn't thinking about things like what impression the old rig left and how to reproduce the same feeling but with a higher quality rig. They just want to get paid for x amount of hours put in, end of story. Soul be damned.

No matter what you think about the quality of it, she didn't pay for it herself.

I think it is more the rigger's experience using their proprietary software that makes most of the difference because the quality of mouth tracking in Hololive is all over the place.
