When I first fell for this shark I wasn't sure if I was just projecting myself on to her or not. I felt like I could sense a kindred spirit. Today I know for a fact that it was genuine and it fills me with more faith and confidence than I've felt in my entire life.

As an EOP who visited Japan for 3 weeks I can say it's very foreigner friendly.
Lots of the signs have English and you can have a basic, albeit quite broken, conversation with a good amount of people as long as you know some elementary phrases that you've probably absorbed through cultural osmosis by now. (Naturally this is mainly in the cities, the further out in the country you go the more it becomes a crapshoot)

This was of course in 2019 before everything went to shit, but I would still gladly go back one day.
