I can't remember what it was like around Ame's debut. It was a different time back then, things occured differently on /jp/. Council's debuts are a blur at this point too. But it's a little strange to me seeing entire threads for the new girls full of people proclaiming that they love them and treat them as their true oshi. Despite not even hearing their voice or knowing what they're going to act like or anything.
I recall really liking Ame's design. But it definitely took at least 3 weeks until I realized I was enjoying her the most out of HoloMyth, and even at that point I didn't have a complete grasp on her personality, since it takes every debutant around 2 months until they come out of their shell.

I watched the Myth debuts but I was just a casual viewer at the time, mostly didn't watch full streams until around 6 months later, and then I would mostly watch Gura or Mori or random indies or Pika. I never watched anyone do karaoke on stream before Ame, not even Gura. One day I decided to just give it a go, and it drew me in to Ame more. Over time I started watching Ame more than anyone else and after that charity stream I was so proud and emotionally invested in Ame that I knew she was "the one" finally. Nowadays I watch Ame almost exclusively.

From debut I remember a lot of excitement and people finding any reason to try and praise the girls. Ame scared some people with her debut stream, but she solidified her position extremely strongly immediately after. The first Apex streams were when people starting seeing the "gremlin" side of her and then Superliminal that brought in the first wave of Goslings

When Council debuted I didn't pay much attention to them since I was kind of a myth supremacist but with Advent I hope I like one of the girls so I have a backup when Ame is not streaming (most days)
Its always exciting to follow someone starting on their debut. Ame will always be my #1 priority though
