I don't know when it happened, but Treasure Box finally got English subs. There's a surprising amount of Marinenglish, her monologue at the start seemed aimed at kaigainiki. Rewatching the Future Island MV, I think I had an epiphany as to why the 3D worked so well there. Mori’s 3D model looks incredibly smug when Mori smiles and does the half open eyes which she has for most of the MV. The choreo of the MV is incredibly playful, and gives off a smug energy that synergizes incredibly well with Mori’s model. I think it’s why Mori looks a little silly whenever she tries to act cool or other’s have her be cool. Smug was coded right into that model.

I finally started pushing through the final sections of DXM in preparation for AC6 release (might buy a whole new PC for that shit tho)
final missions get pretty heavy one anime tropes and melodrama, even more than rest of the game, it could've been woven in way more gracefully and the investment kinda suffers from it
the combat encounters aren't super creative either, but the shootouts are still satisfying, wish the game had the balls to pit us against multiples of the gigabosses but it still sticks to only using 1 per mission, which is kinda easy
