That means streaming flavor of the month games they don't want to play, because that's what attracts new viewers. That means doing react content if if they don't want to, because that attracts new viewers. That means being "political" and taking some side on social issues, because by taking a side you get to be "in" with all the other people in the world who also take that side. That means giving up intimacy and interaction with chat as it grows too fast to read, and even having to hire moderators to keep a leash on that chat because there's no way to split your attention between chat and the stream anymore. That means catering to the largest group of viewers, with the shortest attention spans, and making algorithm content like YT shorts and meme filled clips. That means doing whatever everybody else in the industry is doing, and competing with them for viewers. If the result Kiki wants is more ccv and more subscribers, I don't think she's doing all the right things to achieve that.

But I think Kiki also has more than one result she wants. I think Kiki also wants to play the games that she likes, and wants to have fun and enjoy herself, and wants to interact with chat on a closer level, and ultimately wants to have friends that will be there for her so she doesn't feel lonely. If THAT is Kiki's desired result, she's doing everything right.

I don't have a solution for how Kiki can achieve both things at the same time though. I don't think it's impossible, but I don't think it's easy.
