Unironically diversity. Have you ever looked at a Korean or Japanese pop/idol group? They try to cover as many bases as possible so they have something that appeals to everyone. It's a long shot though. It is true she locked down Discord invites but it was never an open door to begin with - you had to have a Twitch sub, Patreon, YouTube membership (of the old channel) to join. Or you could redeem 10k points on Twitch but again, that wouldn't work if no streams are happening. If you didn't have a membership or whatever you used to get automatically kicked out of the server, she eventually stopped that though.
