Sayu hasn't revealed a lot yet, but I like her setup. She's some kind of criminal android getting hunted by a megacorp for some unknown past crimes. It had a nice personal resonance.
Also, her design is pretty cool, she can fly and do Gundam stuff.

Kiara had that time where Youtube killed her and she reincarnated and she ended up adding a lot of lore when that happened. I don't think the swap is exactly like a reincarnation, since it doesn't seem like there was any damage to the body, just a firey teleportation. Assuming that's correct, I guess memory loss would be minimal, but she did look pretty confused when she appeared there.

It seems like despite having a healer vibe she always goes for a melee DPS build with big weapons. Also, she has no gag reflex, which I'm sure has implications for one's fire emblem class.

thanks for asking anon, campaign started as one piece but in space. Earth didn't really matter since they were all from other worlds. Earth in a last ditch effort to gather resources sends their very best to colonize Mars and save Earth. A mystery happens and Earth loses contact with the crew, all hope is gone and society collapses with wars and famine. big corps and governments prepared for this, had all their shit stored in their satellites and thrown to space to be saved. COVER sent the homos on their own rocket, but they were the actual guys and not holograms, they went on to have fun space adventures and live fulfilling lives as the last earthlings. Most holos landed on wildly different worlds, some accurate to their lore like gura landing on a water world but Subamio landed on an alien coast with long summers, insects running amok, and short winters where an apex beast hunted anything that moved.

i ended up having to modify BESM for the true anime experience, but it turned into a modular system, you use points to buy whatever abilities or functions you want in a character. attacks, skills, etc.

Lore-wise the most consistent power’s her recording the dreams of mortals. Her lore implies that she can manipulate the dreams somewhat but she’s pretty inconsistent when it comes to whether she can actually sic nightmares on people if she wants
Other than that she’s pretty physically fit and strong given the amount of things she’d accidentally broken before, and is also pretty handy when it comes to DIY (not sure if that’s relevant in FE)

Specifically monarchies? Mori is defined as the Queen of the Underworld in the New Underworld Order, so I think that might be one. There's Atlantis, though its politics aren't mentioned and it's in ruins now. Roboco gets a crown in one of her outfits but I don't recall if there's more to it.

Crowns are kind of a representation of an office rather than a direct indication of monarchy though that does get me thinking about certain outfit design choices.
Are Luna's two crowns indicative of both her role as the monarch of the Candy Kingdom and her position as a Lunar Princess? I wonder if the same can be said about Kiara since her lore also had her as some sort of protector last I remember.

Y'know, I keep looking at this name in the context of Fire Emblem and expecting it to be something like "Feurstadt".
A traditional fantasy setting usually means leaning into Anglish and Germanic constructions while avoiding Latinate ones, to reflect the cultures that it's based on; it's also how Norse sagas are translated.

E.g. "endless" and "boundless" both have Old English roots, "unlimited" and "limitless" are semi-French, and "infinite" is entirely French. So you rarely ever see people in fantasy novels say "infinite" unless they're priests who are expected to speak Latin.
