Animfest this weekend... the very first con Lux ever appeared at... I still can't believe I got to see them at a con local to me last year. It was a fun time and even though I'm active much on here these days I still think about my fellow kindredsis who I met there, I still love you... I'm kind I sad that lux didn't return this year, even moreso now that Mysta's leaving, but I'm glad I got to see them in person whole before now... I haven't been able to watch vtubers lately but hearing this news made me really sad and miss /vt/... I will never forget all of Mysta's attempts to get Shu to be social when they just debuted and them helping each other out behind the scenes, his late night streams rambling about his momma and growing up and finding himself despite insecurities, or his funny voice and cute laugh. I can vaguely understand why he's going but Luxiem is still going to be sad to watch without him. I know he said to not diminish Luxiem to him, I won't, but it's not a lie that he was pretty integral to their bonding. I hope he can stream somewhere else one day. I really, really wanted to see his 3D.

Otsonny!! Not exactly sonny streams to report on but there's been a lot he's involved in, i guess I'll just do a Sonny Brisko Week in Review since the thread could use more positivity. Starting off with a couple collabs after his return zatsu, smash was a pretty fun time. Beginning with some four man fights and moving into 1v1s, it was kinda funny watching sonny play... mostly 'cause he kept getting his ass kicked. The odds were definitely against him though, lotta autists in the lobby. Also for the 1v1s he was usually playing captain falcon who... I dont think was really one of his mains, he just really wanted to get that charged falcon punch (which he would get later). Shu playing enderman was incredibly on-brand and i enjoyed watching sonny chasing him around on temple of all stages. He may have gotten utterly raped but he actually did snag a couple wins in the end when they turned items on and he switched back to ness, fucking hilarious. Hiding in the corner until he's a stock up and 2/4 are dead... he's just like me. I wonder if he'll ever play with viewers again? There was also zomboid after that, which meant more POV hopping, yahoo! He joined late and spent the bulk of his time either with millie/aia or just completely MIA which made my job a little easier...? Anyhow it was good too, he's always just creeping around when he's not streaming and his interactions with the girls are funny, i like that millie takes the game seriously. Also got some 1on1 time with his volleyball kouhai, and it was kino when everyone was in a room huddled around a TV even if sonny wasn't there... until the abo talk started, I tapped out I'm sorry KEK.

Slightly surprising was his cameo in Petra's 2nd anni karaoke— okay not that surprising, but surprising as in I only knew there were even gonna be duets like an hour before the stream. Of course it was a fucking meme... blend S op is fire though, sonny and cute songs will always be a great combo. Leos mini live was probably what i was most looking forward to, I'm really happy one of my favorite JP livers has taken a liking to my boy. The entire thing was kino, it's pretty short so go check it out if you haven't already! I'm almost thankful he was still in 2D since I dont think my heart is ready for 3D sonny yet (kuroko or not)... Still, it was honestly surreal seeing him up there with Leos and Yashiro; not that they ignore EN by any means, but it still feels like they're in a league of their own yanno? Shounen Heart was the song of choice for this trio and it was honestly great. Sonny looked pretty goofy up there as a holographic DJ while the other two went off on-stage but i loved it, his voice meshed well with theirs and his rapping was very kakkoii, what a song choice. Thank you for inviting him leos, now I'm even more excited for sonny's eventual 3D debut...! The singing didn't stop there though, and right afterward was virtualfes which a tako very graciously restreamed for us. I'm thankful i was able to see it as there was some stuff i wouldn't have wanted to miss. Once we got past the nervous banter and awkward silence from not being able to hear the audience in the stream, the setlists today were pretty good, with both reprises of earlier performances as well as some new stuff. My faves were generally the English songs since unarchived karaokes are rare for this group in particular; backstreet boys was pretty fitting for alban and I see you with that BMTH, ike. Sonny... feel good inc was unexpected but i think that may now be one of my favorite performances from him, my god. I wanted to hear Shu sing an english song too, but i do like yoasobi, and tracing that dream was a nice track to end on. Sadly no duets or group songs but i think it was a solid concert all things considered, I'm glad everything went smoothly. The displays and overlays were pretty on-point! Great job boys and congrats on your first concert sonny, one of the things i love about his singing is his ability to adapt to all sorts of genres, and I'm glad we got a decent showcase of that this week alone. I don't even know if the full panel is out yet, but i caught some clips at least and i am very interested by the bits of trivia we got.
