Following his usual cycle then 2-3. He usually does his shitposts until people accept it as the norm. Once people stop reacting to it for his amusement and just see it as normal soda he'll get bored and move on to something else. When I first started using Live2D early last year, I watched Shamallful's Live2D tutorial guide on youtube, although I can't seem to find that video anymore.
I learned the basics making some simple animated models for the cutscenes in my game, but I had to learn a lot on the spot rigging SquChan and Soda's models

live2d is more about layering a ton of 2d assets on top of each other and essentially squishing and moving them around so they look 3D

Not that anon, but pretty sure it is each part on different layers and then applying math to bend the image shape (lots of sliders on the L2D GUI). Like "squish the X-axis of the image of the iris by 50% when moving to this point on the right the closer it gets to it"
Just download the demo and try it out or look up a tutorial on youtube. I think it even comes with basic models, maybe those are even openable to edit and play around with

imagine two points on a line. eyes open and eyes closed. these are the furthest points. you basically make step by step changes so that it looks like its blinking. you edit the parts of the eye so that it looks like its closing. all the parts of the eye are separate, iris, whites of the eye, etc. so you have the two end points, and then in-between you have the eye in different states of closing or opening. imagine an animation timeline of an eye opening, but you can also reverse it.
