I have, I was playing big box rpg games, I would suggest grabbing a document camera for dice rolls and narrative cards. It helps a ton for viewer clarity.

Made some progress and was wondering if I could get some feedback before I lock it in and make my live2d model. I can't really get the jacket to look right so I'm thinking I should just drop it for now and add it to my model later once I get some more practice in? I don't know. ;v; Also I tried making the covering bang transparent to see the eye underneath somewhat like one anon suggested, but I couldn't get it to look right so I don't think I'm skilled enough yet to do that.
I have a problem with my drawings looking like bobbleheads so I made some proportion edits on the one on the right, but I feel like there's something still off... Or maybe I didn't change it enough orz

having the jacket as a toggle is definitely a good idea, but if you consider it an intrinsic part of the design then it's better to be scuff than missing entirely. I wouldn't recommend having the second eye visible through bangs, it can be kinda weird. honestly I don't even notice the proportion changes in the last one unless I look real close. I don't know if this is an artist's thing where it bothers you more than everyone else or I just don't have the right eye for it but either way you gotta remember most people seeing your model are gonna have it on a small screen at a low resolution so it's not especially worth getting hung up on unless you're gonna go a lot more drastic.

So the idea is pretty much being solidified slowly over time with lore and multimedia.
The base concept is a twist on the 'chuuba gets isekai'd to human world and becomes a streamer' trope a lot of vtuber backstory used.

There has to be something that resonates with you. Whether it’s color schemes, certain articles of clothing, other design elements. For example I love the way olive parkas with fur lined hoods look. I have no idea why but olive parkas look amazing to me. If I were to commission a live2d model, it would definitely have an olive parka. So i've sat down and made a rough draft on what topics I feel like could be useful covering in an /asp/iring vtuber stream. All of these topics are things that I had to deal with one way or another during my 2 years of vtubing and 5+ years of streaming. I don't claim to be an expert on any of them and a lot of topics are going to come down to anecdotal evidence. If it's not technical stuff I will mostly just tell you my experience and some general advice, but don't think that I believe I'm an authority on any of it. That isn't the point. Nor do I think every single thing on this list is a requirement for anything. I think it's valuable to at least give these topics a quick thought and decide for yourself on how to handle it.

The technical portion will be mostly explanations on how to properly set up your stream and explain how things work so troubleshooting is going to be easier for you in the future. I will demonstrate the setup live and people will be able to ask their own questions. I think this could very well take over 5 hours to get through it all, depending on how much interest there is from other viewers / chuubas. This isn't supposed to be engagement bait i just think it could be neat to open a more fruitful dialogue about vtubing and how to avoid simple mistakes and maybe even learn a couple things.

Also, check unique viewers. Youtube will update this stat in one or two days from when the view was recorded. If it says one unique viewer, it would be you twice or them twice. You can also check if it's a "returning viewer" (probably you, if you've uploaded videos before) or a "new viewer" in which case it's likely to be from them. But you won't have access to this data for a few days.

To be honest it's extremely limited what you can do with vroids. That's why so many people just default to hoodies with maybe some texturing. Your best bet is looking around booth for stuff other people have made. Technically, if you're artistically inclined you can make some pretty neat stuff. Pic related for example looks pretty unique as far as vroids go. But if you have that much artistic talent, at that point there's no reason for you to stick to vroids when you can be making pngs or even live2d.

It's a pretty funny paradox, good artists can make good vroids, but good artists have no reason to use vroids so all the vroids you ever see are bad.

For all the effort you do networking and marketing yourselves and planning your content and all that shit, literally the easiest, though admittedly not the cheapest, thing you could do is commission a live2d model. 3D has more capabilities by a long shot but the potential can only be used if both the streamer and the artist have the knowledge to utilise it. Even with good 3D artists, if the streamer isn't using it for interactive 3D stuff and adding environments to accomodate their model it's basically a glorified 2D model. I'm glad that there's more options these days for 3D chuubas but you still need to be willing to learn blender / unity even as a streamer to fully use the tools available

The weight of your outline is fucked, probably a resolution issue but sometimes you need to fine-tune it for the render. Camera angle couldn't be more boring. Lightning is flat and unmotivated. And yeah the background could be more fun like the other guy said, maybe something that fits your lore; personally I'd keep it 3D even if it's just basic shapes, but whatever works
Half decent promo art is pretty important I feel, many times it's the first impression you give of yourself

I've seen a few pngs with nice looking animation and functionality. Auxillia and to a degree Albert are that way. Aux makes his work by having what looks like a decently tuned loop and length confined to a codec frame so there's at least some suspension of disbelief that I'm watching anime. A bouncing vedotube should be something you move away from when possible to anything else.
