I've been watching VTubers for a good while now (since mid 2022 or something like that), and I've had no problem with it...

Until recently.

See, my mom and I would take walks before dinner and she'd sometimes ask what I've been doing. She also asks me what I've been watching lately, which is kinda weird considering she didn't care about it before. I then flashbacked to the time I accidentally forgot to switch videos on my phone before going downstairs, and my mom might've seen a glimpse of some Hololive content (it was Senchou too). So I decided to be extra careful with how I leave my phone when I'm not in my room.

When she asks me what I watch, I just say a basic ass answer like gaming or comedy. But the problem is I'm starting to run out of things I actually watch. And I can't just say the same thing over and over again or she'll just get suspicious of what I'm actually doing.

So, now I'm in a bit of a predicament.

I kinda wanna tell my mom I watch VTubers, but I'm afraid that when she searches for it, YouTube's gonna fuck me over and show the unseiso clips to her, then she'll reprimand me and tell me to not watch them anymore. I am a bit young but I saw one of my classmates watch Nijisanji, so I thought I was fine.

But still, I'm planning to keep this thing a secret, and only ever be public about it when I'm older.

What do you guys think? Should I just do it, or keep on hiding it?
