This is my first time really seeing TLOU, technical issues aside, I gotta say, this game doesn't really seem very good on any level. Gameplay and story both seem kinda meh.

It's one of the most overrated games of all time
The two main characters are likable and have interesting interactions, and there are a few good story set pieces, particularly toward the end of the game
But the gameplay is terrible, janky, and full of bugs, the puzzles are repetitive and uninspired, and they never figured out how to make Ellie's AI work with their shitty TPS stealth gameplay so these sections are always goofy as fuck

I've only watched people play Day's Gone, but TLOU is strictly linear compared to the other game's open world mission/task based system. People like TLOU b/c they think it's "cinematic" and "raised the bar for games" lol
