Yeah I wasn't looking when she killed it but I think when I fought one at a similar level I got like 20 exp. or maybe ap. it's super worthless but she was also fighting it inefficiently. I won't say the combat is monotonous but it did lose it's lustre for me towards the end, barring the last few new abilities you get. they're fun but they mostly don't change the core loop especially because so many of the best moves have long cooldowns, encouraging you to just ram them all into stagger windows.

While some parts might seem silly with the accents, I never really felt the truly emotional moments lacking, and even 2 got their act together from Chap 7 onward to deliver higher-quality EN voicelines. Still need to play 3 to see if that holds true there, but I've heard nothing but good things.

That one I never actually really used that much outside of the wind trial. the stagger power is definitely impressive, I just didn't like not being able to see who I was fighting.

Timing is also a weird thing with stagger heavy moves. obviously they're generally useful whenever the target is not stunned as long as you can land the damage but stagger is also seemingly the main thing that drives the multiplier up so having something like that to throw out straight after the stun is nice. did that a lot with diamond dust, instant 1.4x and it freezes time.
