They're functional, generally unisex (it's hard to make a mug or a bowl really girly) and have some quality range to hit different price points.
I really liked the holotalk anni mug, even though the printing was so so. Underneath was a bog standard small white mug, perfectly serviceable for a cup of tea or coffee.
They're a pretty big risk when shipping however, compared to something soft like a plushie, or flat like a canvas bag.
