Nah, it depends on how they market it and if they do it properly, Toei recently revealed some numbers showing that Latin America is their second biggest consumer and purchaser of products next to Japan.
I know comparing one of the most mainstream anime companies to Cover is a stretch but if they knew how to properly advertise to the people who are the complete opposite of Americans and in a way more close to respecting Japanese traditions, you can get something.

Pokemon X has a language selection screen when you start a new save file, spanish is an option there and if you pick it, even on the NA version, the characters are clearly speaking castilian spanish, I'd know because I bought my 3DS and copy of X on a trip to the US.
