I'm not a musician so I don't know what she specializes in, but out of everyone in Hololive it's the most pleasant to listen to for extended periods of time.

I think other holos are technically more skilled, but, for example, Suisei's voice is too high pitched. It's exceptionally good and she can reach difficult notes and sounds professional and technical, but it can strain your ears listening to it for hours on end. Same with Towa, but to a lesser extent. In fact, there are a lot of good singers in hololive. And it could aslo jsut be the style of music they sing, too. Suisei tends to be high energy or emotional singing, and Towa has a lot of intense rock. And that style would also lead to more fatigue after a while.

It's just that I don't run into the same problems with Gura's singing even during long karaoke sessions. I don't have to lower the volume with her to give my ears some rest. And it's just so impressive how much control she has over her voice where most people would just let it trail off but it's like she has full control even during the last moments of a note. Suisei and Towa don't have that same ability from what I can tell.

There are live cameras inside the venue that use real world vision, and "virtual" cameras which output a signal feed of scenes inside the 3D rendering (this can be a single feed if it's a pre-record).
A director then (pic related) sits in an OB van showing every camera angle and will say what screen to show at any time to output to the broadcast.
If the performance is live and not a pre-record then there will be an additional director who separately controls what is being shown on the real world screens.

It was just kind of a let down in general. IRyS performances were great, Gravity especially was easily the highest point of the concert by a mile and a half, but the concert as a whole was just really really lacking.

I've... I've been cognitively suppressing alot of emotions for a while now. At some point I thought that so many people make so many dumb decisions and ruin their lives by being too controlled by their raging emotions. I dont know how my brain did it but I just stopped feeling extreme things for a while. It left me very comfortable for very many years. It wasnt until I decided to experiment with adderall a friend gave me that it cracked open and I became me again. I'm actually happy she got 2 solo performances. A duet with Kiara would have been nice but I know management would have paired up IRyS with someone I hate listening to instead.
If anything, IRyS should strictly be solo in EN peformances like this one simply because only like 2 other girls (not including mori) actually care and attempt to either pump out singles or attempts to be the best idol she can be. The rest do the bare minimum and fuck off.
If Cover wants IRyS to do more duets, then keep the talent pool to strictly JP where they take this a lot more seriously than the EN side.
