The problem isn't getting the numbers to fill a stadium, there's easily 30-40,000 people that would love to watch in person. It's all those people having the money to actually get to the stadium. Unlike in Japan where it's just a single train ride away, you have to fly into wherever they're hosting it. That plane ticket kills the ability of like 80 or 90 percent of the people that want to watch it live, from being able to.

I think they could fill 10k seats next year easily; part of the issue is convincing Cover to pick a venue that's in literally any other state than California. This very much felt like a "test the waters" concert considering the very play-it-safe approach they had with regards to a lot of things; I genuinely question the no duets/intermingling between EN/JP/ID and having no duets in general felt like a particularly bizarre move, though that could have possibly been intentional considering you had a decent number of the talents taking vocal/jaw-related breaks at some point over the past half a year so maybe the stars just didn't align this go-around there.

SF has a better rail system, LA is very car focused. I'm not sure what happened to the rail project that was going to connect the two. I think it failed because of US politics and a price that kept going up. LA has more production facilities for a concert and the anime expo shit. SF has a working rail system. You can go from the airport all the way to the city and beyond.
