I think she was the one who lasted the longest. She did all those "endurance streams" at the end, trying to buy herself more time. It seemed like it helped, for a while. But there were five of them in the beginning. Project Hope, Hololive's first "v-singer" generation, five girls. Five. FIVE. They announced five, but only four actually made it to debut.

I remember that much, but it's getting really hard to recall specifics. Couldn't even remember any of the names until I found this thread. Still can't, for the other three. I remember some things about them but I'm not sure if it's real or just my own brain trying to plug the gaps.

I liked one of them a lot, and I was obsessed with this for a long while. That girl with really long tails, people compared her design to Miku pre-debut all the time but she had four. She had the best rigging, everyone agreed. The second one to go? It's like trying to plug a hole. I think that's why I still remember those things.

There was this group online, I was in it, we were trying to bring this to everyone's attention. No one seemed to care, and it wasn't getting that weird yet but the no coverage stuff was already kinda surreal, like, vtubing has more drama and gossip than a girls only high school, and then things were happening at Holo EN and suddenly no one cared?

Though it was getting impossible to ignore when only two girls remained. And especially after Lilia's last stream. I thought there had to be mainstream coverage, because the fucking Taiwan drama was covered by some mainstream media and this had to be worse? But instead, everybody just... forgot.
