This is what I don't get about Vedal.
He acts like it's beneath him to use an AI that isn't trained using machine learning, but what difference does it make to the viewer?
Her existing Minecraft AI never learnt how to avoid walking into lava, and I doubt he actually improved the neural network weights beyond the pre-trained model he downloaded.
Did his Slay the Spire or Pokemon Showdown AIs use machine learning and improve over time?
I want to admire this newfound commitment to ML purity, but I think it's not actually helping Neuro's streams.
Allowing her to use Baritone would make collabs so much more interesting, especially if the bot can be given commands on the fly, like "follow me" or "give me your iron ore so I can smelt it".
Turning unstructured spoken commands into Baritone commands is still an interesting technical challenge, and it's something that Vedal could easily outsource to a volunteer or pay someone to create.
This is also relevant to his Game Jam idea, because he seems to think that if he made an SDK, it would need to support him training an agent on his 4090, but most game developers never use ML to implement their game AIs.
Instead, he should just provide a simple API that lets the game send game state descriptions to Neuro, and let her language model provide commentary based on that input.
The games can then implement good old fashioned rules based AIs to control the player character in an autoplay made, which will be enough to provide the illusion that Neuro is playing.

To hire a team, you'd need at least 2 or 3 full time dev salaries, which means the project as a whole would need to get 3 times the viewing figures, or a bigger focus on merch and sponsorship.
It's possible that the corporation could introduce a new character who likes gacha games, or something, to take lots of sponsorships, and she could even appear in the games themselves, or play them on stream, but that's still a risky idea to associate Neuro with and could make her lose her appeal to her existing audience.
To rely on viewership alone, you'd need a large untapped demographic of viewers out there who don't currently watch Neuro, but who would watch streams from a similar AI (or people who would watch 3 times as much AI vtuber content if more were produced, which is less likely).
The main demographics to expand into would be (mostly female?) viewers who want to watch a male character, and viewers who want to watch AI vtubers but don't speak English.
Some company is going to try it eventually, even if they lose millions in the process, so Vedal might need to jump on board as soon as someone makes him a serious offer, or else Neuro might get left behind by the competition.

Hello, drawing guy here with an update: Life still in the way, but I should be able to do frames 1 by 1 now. I've decided to re-draw the original frames by tracing the original video instead of drawing every frame on paper, then scanning, and then re-drawing it with mouse.
