100 Kiara's couldn't make up for 1 gura the same way that 100 Warabeda's won't make up for 1 Kuzuha. I said that making appealing content gets you more subscribers. That doesn't mean good content. Also Hololive content might not be entertaining to lots of people. It is to me though. Most of the effort you need to put into making a video is actually just the thumbnail, title and the first part of the video and then you just need to keep your viewer around until the end. If your content is good but nobody clicks on it, you can't expect it to do well unless someone is generous enough to share it with a bunch of people.

The biggest problem with IRyS is her lone wolf nature and the fact that she's out of the Holobox entirely outside of the monthly chadcast and mandated full gen collabs.
Just like Fauna she has a pretty solid core audience but low ceiling and tourist appeal.
Meanwhile others like Mumei, Kronii and most Myth members have high tourist appeal which makes them thrive when the branch is at its highest. Right now unfortunately HoloEN is failing to provide hype content that attracts the more casual audience and the clip watchers.

I don't think so. Vshojo's Zentreya did a test stream there and got chewed out by her fanbase for supporting the evil gambling website. She's now sworn to never stream there again. A 4view indie named Tobs said she will try doing a stream or two there to test the waters and do stuff you can't do under Twitch TOS, but she was also doubtful the website will gain traction in the long run. Because of Kick's association with gambling, most big indies don't want to risk moving there and alienating their fanbases who are fairly anti-gambling.
