There are probably extensions to fix this, but vtubers in general are tech illiterate. So the standard solution among vtubers are to give people they want to stand out in chat mod status, so that their names show up different and are easy to pick out. This leads to situations where a chat may have a lot of moderators, but no one has any interest in actually moderating.

Kronii can be very funny, which is her best quality. I sometimes watch her streams, but I could never follow her actively because of nonsense like this. Having a visible personal clique of people "in her favor" just gives me bad vibes. Poor choice on her part IMO, there's a reason most Holos try to treat chat as a singular entity instead of picking favorites.

People have complained about her mods derailing streams by begging to be gifted memberships (which is how all that faggotry started after she came back from surgery), and they're the types to delete comments for that calls them out for bad behavior. They're also very pissy, so I imagine some Kronies just bite their tongue because they've banned people for lesser shit so you have a feedback loop where Kronii is oblivious to a problem because mods go out of their way to cover their own tracks from her.

I've even see threads on Reddit agreeing that her mods really have no reason to act like elevated members.

Clock schizo here, Kronii's mods are in her general it's how they got me when I was in Towa's chat during the Marika tourney, they're probably looking at this thread right now, they have the authority to ban anyone unilaterally with impunity unless your one of Kronii's biggest supporters. Kronii encourages chat celebrities by reading a select few of the same people in chat (granted they do type the most), it's what gave way to the "spreadsheet" meme, all of the most prominent Kronies are in her RM's Patreon thus perpetuating the clique mindset.

None of that is wrong but it does encourage chat spamming, infighting, and RM stalking which some other holo fandoms dislike, like When I bought her RM merch people were calling me out for being a stalker when I'm pretty tame in comparison to other Kronies.

Ultimately her mods exist to do one thing and everything else is secondary, culling both homobeggars and unicorns. It's no secret that she hates the unicorns but she still has a clear delineation between homo streams and non-homo streams, she doesn't want to mix the two but still wants to spite unicorns.

Also if any of the Kronies are reading this and try to show Kronii tell her I'm working on an art project for her, phase 1 is done but I might have to accelerate phase 2 depending on when her hologra debut is.

As long as the focus is solely on Kronii she's great and her genmate collabs are very enjoyable as well, particularly with IRyS and Fauna
The only downsides to having her as an oshi are the male collabs, Mori collabs and her mods. I.e. the bad elements are other people not Kronii herself
Kronii does a have a issue with being too kindhearted towards the people she cares about (friends and coworkers), she will allow those bad elements to stay with her even if she's aware that they are damaging her career and her reputation among her audience

Actually it's no longer the case, Kiara has been relying on Cover's own bot/mods for a bit more than a year. The former mods are still around but they have zero power user privileges. There was a time when the bot was overly sensitive when it was first introduced and it banned a lot of people, but now it works fine-ish and there hasn't been anything noteworthy other than the odd spambot finding the channel and being banned after a while.
