Just a matter of keeping the windows closed and blinds down during the day. It keeps the house cool all throughout the day. Open the windows in the evening to let the cool air in, leave them open over night.
Work earlier in the morning, take a break before it gets too hot. Spend time from noon to 3pm in shade, that's the hottest.
