This is an interesting point to raise, if both sides are too prideful and self absorbed in their own right, there really is no ending this cycle. You might not know this if you aren't actively reading discord, but there is a lot of stuff that individually people would just call faggot behavior, but looking at it as a whole, it paints a lot more concerning picture. A certain group of people has a lot of interactions with the mods. Some of them are "lorekeepers" - people making a google doc with all the shenanigans Skye does (started as a way of keeping track of what alt universe Skyes did) with a lot of self inserts. They are usually spamming Skye channels with their inside jokes and going around other channels derailing conversations with their jokes. They also have the mod protection so they have never even been warned about it. All the Skye channels are practically unusable because of the spam. They also force a lot of their own jokes onto Skye and her streams. All of this put together in one person is a textbook example of a groomer. Assert authority, insert yourself in the targets life and isolate them from outside support. Them being separated over few different people just made me look at it as a couple of people being socially inept. The 3 biggest "overpositive faggots" are you, me and a riifling and I can confirm none of us are mods/part of the clique. When people started complaining that we were trying to ruin the thread, I thought the criticism was valid, so after the discussion we had a few threads ago, we decided to tone it down a lot. Then the secret discord leaks came and we could see that all the people I mentioned above were actually a part of the same group and them acting with the intention to groom Skye became a lot more believable. I became even more suspicious when people started calling us mods and said that we all left after being "discovered", even though we all were clearly still here, made it abundantly clear that we were staying and stopping those things because others didn't like it, and we are the only ones actually discussing Skye and her streams in the dead hour threads. Saying that we all left is either posts made by people that don't read the threads or people with an agenda trying to deflect.
All of these could be just coincidences, but there are too many of them for my schizo brain to ignore.

I honestly think Skye loses too much focus when playing games. She tries to both maintain the chat interactions and play the game as best as she can. Neither can come to the forefront and dominate the stream so all of it just seems too spread out and very unfocused. While I do see how this would be annoying to witness, I would, at least for this, give them a slight pass. As people interact, groups will form naturally, and since most people are, as you said, socially inept, they would generally stay in their own safe space i.e. cracking jokes with people they are close with, seldom letting new people in, not because of anything malicious, but just because meeting new people can be kinda scary for some.

Hm, ok so I have had some experience with this in /rrat/ and Bae's streams, and honestly, this would be completely on the streamer, Skye, to tackle. She is in full control of her stream at all times, and needs to learn that sometimes she just has to put her foot down. Same as with the Erika collab message thingy, if it really bothered her that much, she should have let it be known. I know I might be expecting a bit much, she is a ball of insecurities afterall and generally seems like a gentle person, and actions like that might push some viewers away, but I think it would do her good to excercise some more dictatorial power over her streams sometimes.

I will admit, these "accusations" did come out of the left field, but I generally don't pay them much mind. Although now that you have laid everything out like this, it does seem to be painting a picture that these might be people with an agenda. Now what their goals are I don't know, and frankly don't care, but it is interesting.

Now I don't know entirely what to make of this all, again I am very much a newfag still, but if these aren't coincidences, which I am glad you also point out they might be, they do paint a somewhat dark picture. Yea, her focus does seem to be a bit of a problem with certain games. I can't fault her for having a good work-life balance, and definitely wouldn't want her to stream every day because burnout is a real thing, but I think some changes would have to happen to her chedule for her to pick up steam in regards to ugh...numbers.
She likes drawing, right? So that's let's say a biweekly stream she can pop in, even if it's something like Ina's drawing school. Wouldn't necessarily be copying her, since drawing tutorials are all over the place(even if schizos might latch onto that) and it would give her a good zatsu excuse with something that doesn't necessarily require that much focus all the time in the background.
