The tension in these vs battles is between what I'll call "serious" and "grounded" approaches.Serious approaches are the ones that try and turn things into a real fight, like one of those comic books where batman can beat almost anyone with prep time. They tend to be Hella dumb. Grounded approaches can be smarter, but only if the person has halfway coherent priors. Otherwise they're just as dumb, but more tedious and pedantic. I think doing a good job with the grounded approach is probably the best horn to choose, if you need to choose anyway.

In battleboarding terms, characters like Ina and Ame (forma del time bullshit) suck to play with because hax is always 90% random crap that does what the author wants instead of being based on any kind of consistent internal logic. For Gura, Mori and Kiara, you can come up with a list of feats and characteristics, but Ina and Ame inevitably fall into a no-limits fallacy, since they have few fully realized on-screen feats of their hax BS.
