It was an unfortunate comment made about a politically sensitive topic. AZKi means well but her historical ignorance could spark a lot of outrage in Indonesians who are still affected by the actions of the Japanese during that era. Imagine if an American was unaware of the suffering that the atomic bombs caused, and made a similar comment about Hiroshima or Nagasaki during a GeoGuessr JP game, some Japanese people might take serious offense. And it's not like anyone on Cover's side is going to make a statement acknowledging any wrongdoing by any parties (historical and current) during the stream, it'd be best for them if people just kept quiet and moved along. But that still leaves the potential for disgrunted Indonesians who might give AZKi trouble in future streams, unless they come to terms with the way that some JP history gets swept under the rug. Also, if something like this causes any trouble, then maybe Cover will pull the plug on GeoGuessr streams which is bad news for AZKi and her new fan mascot, especially after her recent lifestyle change.
