The concept of HoloEarth could be profitable where they can sell microtransactions directly to hololive fans. The problem is Cover wanting to become an MMO game developer when they couldn't even fix the bugs with the Live2D 3.0 update. If after 5 years they still don't know how to make software for vtuber models than it's hard to be optimistic about their open world MMO game.

Cover wants it to become their metaverse and dedicated special events streaming platform. Not to replace youtube, but to elimonate 3rd parties like V-ark, NND or SPWN.

It's double dipping. Encouraging the fans to be hooked to the Holosphere 24/7 for their day-to-day entertainment by giving them exclusive acess to the major events. They could have the watchalongs there, with the holo using their 3d model to react live to the in-game projection from a podium or even as part of the crowd.

It's always been Yagoo's goal, Cover started as a AR and VR tech company, the idol thing was supposed to be a marketing stunt.

there's always been this kind of loop. the streamers advertise the new studio, they stream games which earns everyone money, hololive is stacked with VA that companies can hire.. it's not a horrible business model. i think yagoo is aiming more at fortnite than anything else. they've done interesting things with in-game event/concerts. i'm not sure why they haven't completely replaced spwn yet. it must be a more complicated relationship than just the streaming.

VARK yes, but the other two no. That's not what Holoearth does.
If anything will replace standard video delivery for events it's the current fanclub site, but they have not set it up to support enough connections for big events and probably never will.
