There are times where I do make a small planning doc to keep track of things. But it's usually a short list of when certain scenes happen, so that I don't wind up with plot holes. Or mapping out love values and flags because I just threw them in there without any sense of how to balance them (fun fact, most of the Millie festival scene and Reimu spooky scene was added post-scripting and staging for game balance).
I would say the advice on planning the scope is good advice, and that you should make it as short as possible with your narrative. Don't make it "managable" or "reasonable" make it short. This is because first time devs need to spend a lot of time just learning the systems, wrangling the art, and generally how they work. Only once you complete a project will you realize how easy it all was

It's tough. When I looking around for ways to do Pomu's journal, I found out how finicky gdocs can be with images. I eventually got it to look okay, and I'm pretty proud of it, but it took some effort with no shortage of trial and error. There might be better ways to do it, but I currently don't know those ways. I also seem to remember the published version of a doc looking vastly different spacing wise with the image than it did in edit mode, so there's that too.

But if it's just standard prose I would say only try it at the start of a scene, just because it would be annoying for the reader to imagine the characters, environment, etc, and then you show a picture and it's different to their interpretation.

A piece of feedback for the future when you have situations where Anon is split or not present from whoever you are currently writing about: Refer to (You) in the third person. If we are reading from basically an overlooking perspective on Botan herself and having a window into her thoughts, she would refer to him as "anon". Another piece of feedback regarding the dialogue, you're getting better at adding a little more dressing to the back and forth, but you still have some spurts where it's purely spoken word. For example, when Botan snaps at Anon to get going, it would be a nice detail to add that some of her lion features showcase themselves to really instill that fear and show dominance. Keep writing and keep improving bro and thanks for the content!

I think the prompt as intended was for it to be Suisei pov, but I think it only needs a little tinkering in order to work from an Anon pov.

Gen 0 - Sora. Exploring her life beyond the idol spotlight as daisenpai, and helping her with the pressure that comes with it all, having to be that shining beacon that everyone looks up to all the time. Sora just wishes to be treated normally like any other.
Difficulty:

Gen 1 - Matsuri. Help her overcome her self confidence issues hidden behind a broken mess of a girl and tons of self deprecating jokes. Teach her about boundaries, and how it is fine to put your trust in others.
Difficulty:

Gen 2 - Shion. A girl who joined the idol life way too early in life, and was affected by it. Despite it all, she hides all her issues quite well behind her kusogaki personality, when in reality, she is quite depressed and lazy because of it.
Difficulty:

GAMERS - Mio. Someone who is always helping others also needs to be helped, sometimes. Miso soup Mio finds herself in an uncomfortable spot, being the one others rely on for their troubles, but never having someone to rely on herself. Has self confidence issues about her age, but you'll have to dig deep to get her to admit anything beyond just casual self deprecating remarks. Despite it all, she's very easy to handle due to her being so mature and experienced.
Difficulty:

Gen 3 - Pekora. A lazy and messy girl who puts all her energy into streaming and doesn't leave much time for anything else in her life. Talking to her outside of stream will be quite difficult, and she will often put up huge barriers when trying to talk about any topic that goes beyond mere acquaintance stuff. Any one mistake and you can ruin it forever, as Pekora once hurt will not give you the time to apologize. She won't even tell you what you did wrong.
Difficulty:

Gen 4 - Luna. An incredibly mature woman, despite what her persona shows. She tends to keep her troubles to herself, not letting others see the pain she is in, and often paying the price for it. She's very selective of the types of persons she chooses to be with, so if she picks up that you're not a good person, don't expect her to stick around. She knows better by now.
Difficulty:

Gen 5 - Polka. With absolutely wild mood swings, self deprecating jokes to no end and a overbearing need to please others, putting them first even above herself, Polka is a broken girl who puts on quite the show.
Difficulty:

Gen 6 - Laplus. A girl who is too easily affected by hateful comments, and can easily become depressed because of it. Despite it all, Laplus gives it her all on stream. She just really needs someone to be there for her, and praise her for her efforts.

Chapter 4 is much better connected and detailed with the dialogue feeling better as it falls victim to 'floating head syndrome' less. Still its pacing was all over the place with entire 'chase and catch' feeling like it should have been a mini arc rather than just summarized into the chapter like this. In particular the jenga tower absolutely would have made a pretty good tense scene if you hadn't rushed through it
