They can sing at an above-average skill level, but that just means hitting the right notes with some dynamic control. One thing I liked about Gura was her passion for singing, which is important for an idol. During her karaokes, she would not only sing the main melodies but also harmonies for some songs. Or she would change the song lyrics up on the spot to spice up the song. Her voice is also more expressive than others when she sings which may have to do with her music/voice acting experience. Her karaoke experiences were very unique and fun.
