Anyways, my oshi is not in Hololive, but the case of fanbase wars being caused between Unicorns and non-Unicorns is something that I'm rather familiar with in my oshi's fanbase. And I think her reaction to it is rather interesting, and perhaps worth studying.
Seeing a lot of Unicorn rhetoric in her fanbase essentially put her into a position that she had to overtly reference Unicorns rather than her passive "I won't collab with men" stance that she held previously. And the way she viewed them was very interesting
In order to settle the fighting, she made statements that appealed to both sides, but the statements reveal her own thoughts on what type of people belong in each camp. To the non/anti Unicorns, she told them that she appreciated the fact that they liked her and "wanted her to be free". However, to the Unicorns, she told them that she understood that they wanted her to stay away from men because they love her and would be jealous/hurt by it, before telling them to "not worry", or "to relax" (code for, I won't collab with men). She indirectly stated that her Unicorns were mostly, if not entirely, gachikoi, and it actually seemed to make her happy to be reminded that she still had vocal gachikoi in her fanbase. I think that's something to consider too.
