By doing this they hope smaller streamers who stream the same type of content will move to Kick to get trickle down viewers from these big streamers. XQC is a huge variety streamer, and they also signed amouranth the biggest titty/hot tub streamer. If they wanted to prop up the vtuber ecosystem on Kick I feel like the first person they would go after is Ironmouse. She's basically the face of English Twitch vtubing and Vshojo and would help legitimize the site for indies. I don't know if Mouse would accept their offer though.
