Despite all the shit surrounding them, they're kind of the dedicated GFE corpo, and GFE can generate a lot of revenue from simps. For reference, they crowdfunded 100K for 3D models despite most of them not even reaching 200ccv.

I only watched the first debut vod out of five because my brain is too small to keep up with this many vtubers, but I have to agree that idol corp seems entertaining.
I don't know anything about Pixel Link though, but at this point, I think "new vtuber wave meta" already kinda died. sure, you get a boost for the first month, but if people don't like you enough, to go back to being deadsubbed without views and donos. I'd say niji and holo can keep putting out waves every year or half a year because they have money to burn, but in general, I doubt it brings more vtuber viewers in the long run if not simply eating others' views up.

As much as I want to watch PixelLink, I still wonder what the girls have to offer that is new.The trailer and models look great and all, but those don't really show what to look forward to. They are also not doing any ads so I doubt they will get a sizable audience after debut.

If Idol Corp is paying people to watch their vtubers it seems a reasonably possibility they're also paying people to post about them.

It's weird that they're all 3'5 lolis. It's weird that 95% of vtubers are either a dwarf height loli or have tits so big that their gravitational pull yeets the Sun into Earth. That aside, none of them impressed me in anything that I look for in a vtuber. I'll wait 6 months before checking on their backlogs.

NexStage is a really unfortunate case, initially with the graduation I thought they were gonna be a black company, but I'm starting to think they got really unlucky. Plum and Jax leave immediately, and from the talents reactions it seemed to have been out of nowhere, then Blair leaves seemingly due to life happening outside the company. What makes it worse is the 2 remaining talents are actually good, but you can kinda just feel that the corpo is circling the drain at this point. I hope they figure things out because they deserve better

I doubt that this model of small corpos launching many vtubers and hoping they will succeed just because they have decent character designs and lore videos will work in the long run. They lack a huge brand like Hololive to support them, and they haven't shown themselves to be good entertainers like self-made 4view indie vtubers who earned their popularity by themselves. The markets are saturated and vtubers in themselves are no longer that novel, so new vtubers have to stand out by being talented and entertaining enough that people want to watch them over existing vtubers. And even if these small corpos get lucky and cultivate a talent that sustainably gets thousands of viewers, that vtuber can just pull a Pikamee and reappear in a company like Vshojo where they actually own their IP.
