newfag here technically untrue i watched pippa's gen 1 making stream and dropped into the thread about once a month to poke around, after lurking for about a week and watching whoever gets linked here (if i can catch the stream before it gets sent to the void, that is) i've come to a conclusion.
this ragtag group of random people has more lore than even huge companies. all of it is vaguely connected in some way. and it's juuuuust important enough that watching the streams without it feels really weird because there's just moments that make no sense and can't really be inferred from context.
i guess my question is, how would i go about actually finding all of the lore? i unfortunately don't have the time to watch every stream ever made and backread every thread, and even if i did, i'm sure i'd be missing a lot of context from shit that happened on twitter or in deleted streams. the history doc in the op is nice, but it's more about the broad strokes, which aren't really what i need here since it's a problem of being lost whenever someone brings up something that requires previous stream knowledge (which then requires knowledge from three unspecified "past" streams and two people who have retired, which then each require[...]).
not asking for a direct spoonfeed. if i get a text wall of fun facts i'm just gonna assume you guys don't actually understand the autisms and leave. i just want a method to the madness

It's tough if you haven't been here from the beginning, there are like 18 or so active or retired talents, and like 5 characters that had 1 stream and went MIA. Thats a lot to keep track of if you're trying to do it on your own by backreading or watching streams. I've been here since pretty much day 1 so I can give you maybe a timeline if you want, but I'll probably miss out on some details. In terms of specific character lore, the one im most aware has some type of context lore video is nyana, she had to be a lewdtuber due to pippa creating her that way but she twisted it and made it into a Bit and then her own thing.. In terms of mixie, theres no video that explains how she picked up an existing design that someone AI generated on this thread, that was being used by another talent at the time and then later re-branded as her own character own thing.
I could go on explaining other talents but im not sure that an explanation is what you are looking for.. Maybe someone should compile an actual video with all of "FLAVRS lore" but that would take editing knowldege which I personally do not have..

I think(?) I get the autism you're going for here. In order, I would say that to get the full FULL flavr experience you need the streams, /fvr/, fancords (just casual lurking) and twitter.
As for the older stuff, that's tough. A thing to consider is that the archives probably aren't as long as they look because of our A.M. dead hours and AI posting so there's some big chunks in there that you could easily get through. Also you could use the "Previously on /fvr/" section in the OP's while skimming through the old threads to find the more notable ones.

This is something we could work on. Having a neat list of starter streams would be useful

Man, you know what, it might be valuable to do a documentary of the history of FlaVR at this point so newfags can get caught up. Telling people to just do their reps isn't useful when there's more hours of streams per day to watch than hours in a day over the course of several months. Have to distill it down a bit.

For you, newfren, a couple broad strokes lore tidbits that are relevant:
The Dolphin Pit(TM) was a literal hole in the ground where Marie Mehlo would dump dolphins in cause she hated them, she'd also dump bad fans on that hole.
THE FORBIDDEN STREAM was a stream where Mixie Mixin ranked fetishes according to her tastes and was very open about it, to the point an anon claimed it was like "seeing someone display themselves bare" or something.
Rika is puertorican but we call him argentinian cause a chilean anon mistook his PR accent with an argentinian accent on his first stream, cause he had a shitass mic.
Kinolime is a /here/ femanon that decided to take the lolime character as well, brolime and kinolime have no issues with the other, some people joke around that kino or brolime are the real lolime, kino cause she's female, brolime cause he was first.
Sawa is not a FlaVR per se, but she aligned herself with this project and became part of the community.
/fvr/ is an extreme outlier in our attitude towards chuuba relationships, to the point most of us (myself included) were kinda disappointed when Minna's BIG HUGE WORLD CHANGING NEWS was that she and her family would be moving to japan rather than her having another child, but to be fair, she had openly stated she was a bit baby crazy and would like a baker's dozen babies. so that theory had a lot of ground.
Minta is indescribable in any way that actually matters, just know that there's a guy that actively lists all the tangents and rambling she mentions per stream and the record is over 500 things.
Several of our chuubas work/worked in the health sector, namely Nyana, Brolime and Juwun (maybe more who knows).
The "grand" Coco yab was a nothingburger made by a seething /asp/ anon that followed him here and (successfully) tried to convince people Coco was a pest.
FlaVR is somehow one of the most diverse chuuba groups: black, latinos, SEA, amerifats, native amerifat, women and men, autismos and social butterflies, and it all happened organically without social pandering (as it should be, honestly).

There's no issue if you ask around, anon. If anything, it's a good way to keep the memories alive so we can explain further newfrens down the line.

To me this seems correlated to having long working hours and then many rest days. It sounds to me that people working in hospitals have long shifts of 48 hours or something crazy like that, and then 3 days of rest (or something like that). I'm not sure what "lore" you are talking about here. Lore as in "Vtuber lore" is just kayfabe, something that is fake, that you pass as true, to create some sort of history between the characters. If you refer to "lore" as "relationships between the people in FlaVR" that's a different thing. In my opinion, there is barely any Vtuber lore of the first kind, nobody keeps kayfabe, if they did at the beginning, they abandoned it quickly. The second type of lore, just relationships between the members is not very consequential in my opinion, they just came together and now there's this.

Like what exactly? I'm not sure what you are talking about here. Whenever I watch a FlaVR stream, I just enjoy the content as it is happening, I never feel like I need to know a lot of history, other than "FlaVR was created by Pippa, there are the original 5 + 3 characters, and the others were created by the community", that's about it. Maybe some people will reference one specific stream, or interpersonal relationships between them (Minna + Sena, Brolime + Mixie, Nyana + Abigill, etc.), but that hardly matters, and focusing on that is drama-baiting more than anything.
I am like you, I was there in the 1st FlaVR stream, then forgot about it, and only came back to watch FlaVR around January this year, once I realized people were actually streaming, and not just memeing on Twitter. Since then I follow FlaVR talents on and off, and just enjoy what I can; I don't worry about "lore", since I said, there is none.
