Some chuuba are actually happy streaming to a small audience because they prioritize chat interactions. Some will even go as far as sabotage themselves if they feel their CCV is too high. So in their case getting high numbers is actually a bad thing and can lead a decrease in quality and/or streaming time.
Also, while you might appreciate that more people know about your oshi turning it into a dick measuring contest makes no sense.
