In Hololive, she made it a point that she wasn't an EN vtuber and I'd say 80% of her streams catered to JP audience, as in, she spoke Japanese almost the entire time. Coco would relegate EN streams for Western games.
Indie Kson did similar but used the Twitch/YouTube split to go EN/JP. If she was on Twitch, it was mostly English and Youtube was JP hours and 95% Japanese spoken. But now that she's stuck on Twitch it makes sense to speak English mostly cuz the Japs didn't fully convert over platforms.

Sora will pretty much attempt to read all English superchats, but she will drop it if she struggles to pronounce a word after 2 attempts. She's actually pretty good at prereading chats and will ignore any sexual harassment type messages, even the English ones. During slower streams and zatsus she reads most of the English comments in chat, even the grey names.
