This is peak Nijidrone mindset. Other talents have been harassed in other companies like Hololive well before NijiEN came into the picture. Talents like Ame and Kiara were doxxed and/or harassed for ages. The reason why NijiEN gets made fun of the most is that they cant stop themselves, in fact a few of them almost seem to welcome antis like Enna and Kyo constantly being antagonistic towards not only other lives but their fans, creating a toxic work environment.
And that's not even ignoring how they recently had a "GIRLS NIGHT OUT" Valorant collab that legit had a "gay" dude in it. They almost seem to enjoy being a walking sideshow attraction.

Other than the observable and unobservable issues with Niji management, they’re probably focusing a lot on a part of the community that’s currently turning against them. We already know that much of NijiEN browses /vt/, and with all the Niji dooming that goes on here I imagine it’s not exactly healthy for the ego.

The reason why some of the NijiEN girls now have a more hostile working environment is because their audience radically changed after the first year. It no longer was just dudes and maybe some girls like it was during Lazusydia, now they have to walk on eggshells to not anger the Chinese/SEA sisters that Luxiem and Enna cultivated, but they also have to deal with a contingent of fans that were from the Lazulight-era that understandably are not happy with this change in content.

Yes, you can argue that males were going to be part of Nijisanji, it was known that it would happen the moment Lazulight did collabs with ID dudes like Bobon not long after debut. But nobody expected that there would also be shipping fags thrown into the mix alongside attempts to pander to them, nevermind there being some talents like Luca or Kyo who outright go out of their way to antagonize and create an uncomfortable relationship between the fans and their Niji oshi. And that's not even getting into the fact that those Asian sisters outright have a doxxsite, so now the livers have to be worried about their audience being even more unpredictable.

Fair assessment, I honestly don't have any reason to dispute practically any of that. I really hoped they could go on to achieve a more JP-like environment, but maybe it was doomed from the start given the unironically schizo nature of the english-speaking scene, given all the various nationalities and mentalities that participate in it. I think NijiEN houses vtubers just as talented and amusing as any other company out there, and far fewer bad apples than /vt/ prefers to believe, but I gotta admit Kyo should never have been let in.

While I've only ever stuck to watching a few of them, and believe they could make it alright as indie, I'd still rather see NijiEN grow and improve if only for the fact that the talent within seem invested in it.

Don't get me wrong, there's still talents I enjoy within NijiEN. There's only 4 talents in NijiEN that I have major problems with, but beyond that the rest I'm either okay with or genuinely liked following. I'd be fine with them going indie, but that's more because the branch needs, if not Anycolor as a whole, needs a change up. Better management to keep moral up/prevent talents from getting too menhera, as well as better revenue splits from merch sales, is badly needed.

the reasons why nijien is bullied so much is because of an awful mix of:
1) retarded talents that can't shut their mouths, not necessarily too much of a problem by it's own but it's also coupled with
2) a management that fucking sucks. they enforce rules against their talents willy nilly and haphazardly, could be favoritism or retardation, it's hard to tell. they just generally suck at providing for their talents when they need help and tardwrangling talents when they step out of line (and when they do, it's some retarded way to do it like silent suspensions)

The saddest part is that management can kind of get away with it. They know that their fans are dumb enough to believe their words, they know the fans are still dumb enough to support them in spite of their shady business practices, and they know that for the most part their talents don’t have many other viable options. Outside of Yugo and Zaion the other talents didn’t have stable fanbases to go back to, and even then it’s not like the other talents were known to have good jobs or were living well prior to becoming vtubers. You aren't wrong. Pomu is pretty loved and still has a consistent audience even now, it's not hard to imagine her doing just fine if she were to reincarnate or head on back to her past life. But she's a special case because I'm not sure if she even wants to leave Nijisanji yet, if at all. She said at the end of the Demonologist collab that it's mostly her friends and fans that keep her there. It seems like she's mostly fed up with being a corporate vtuber so who knows if she plans on staying with on ship until it sinks, or if she'll get another outfit and then decide that she's had enough. She wouldn't be the first Niji to do so - Lulu, Gibara, and Bora are all examples of talents that did exactly this.
And even then one point that I forgot to mention is that she's relatively old, one of the oldest in the branch IIRC. I think that alone would make her risk-adverse, jumping ship without having a good financial back up plan in place.
