Here is my understanding:
She used to be a regular 4chan poster who made edgy lolicon content that she posted to her YouTube channel. However, she later started posting on Tumblr (then 4chan's arch enemy) and disavowed her earlier content, most notably by deleting her popular Pomf Pomf song. A lot of 4channers saw this as a betrayal and started hating her. I personally don't see this as a particularly big deal though, just outgrowing an edgy phase that a lot YouTubers from the 2010s went through. Well I kind have a similar sort of, for lack of a better word, "ideology" to a lot of the people on this site. I kind of feel more comfortable around people here than people on other sites. The lax moderation and anonymity helps too. HOWEVER, I would be lying if I said this place hasn't been a toxic influence on me and has overall been a net harm to me. The very "ideology" I have that draws me to this site has really fucked me the head.

I strongly disagree with this statement. This site tends to have a far-right political tilt, and I know this because it appeals to my own far-right tendencies. Even a lot of seemingly apolitical stuff, like joking about rape or using "f*g" as a suffix, comes out of this site's right-wing culture.

You don't to worry as much about getting banned or downvoted or whatever, but there is definitely a lot of judgement. It's just that this site tends to judge you for different things than what other sites judge you for. For example, while other sites might judge you for being misogyniatic, this site will judge you for being a woman.

It is true that you generally don't have an identity that you're posts can be tied to, and that is honestly one of the appeals of this site for me. However, it can still be emotionally painful to see people react negatively to your posts, so it's not like the judgement is completely inconsequential. And that's assuming tgat everything stays here and doesn't leak onto other sites or real life, which isn't always the case.
