Probably because Elira was specifically spending time with Derem and scanned in front of her so that both of them were in the clear, and Derem sussed her anyway, even though both of them were crewmates. I am going to check Derem's subscribers throughout the week to see if the Among Us collab made a noticeable impact on how many subscribers she gained. So far, her biggest subscriber gains were on the week of Feb. 1 and the week of April 30. I checked and these weeks were the weeks she did Nijinyanji, and the week she did her cover of Envy Baby. It actually seems that despite everything, short videos where you sing are actually the #1 way to gain subscribers.

The ID management is pretty impressive now that I think about it, their connections game is really good, they get a spot on a local fest that kickstarted the branch back in 2019, planned to host in a university event (but got cancelled cuz covid), get to be the host on online events, get partnered with local donation platform simulatenously giving people ways to donate and buying voicepacks locally, getting local artists (musician, music producer, illustrators etc) involved with various ID projects and now they probably cooperated with local producing company to produce those merchs.
With how much effort they put into, its really commendable that they did their absolute best to make this branch work and stay afloat but sadly they aren't getting enough praise and recognition.
