There are a billion and one excuses people have for YouTube but it's impossible to believe that twitch numbers might be accurate?

Something funny about comparing this stream and blaming Tempus is that, in a sense, it could be Tempus' fault that this stream reduced its view count (without mentioning that it's a multiPOV of the same shit so of course people are gonna scatter with their oshis, wich is sad since it shows the DeadBeat purge while it was very good for our community as the unicorns, parasocials and toxic skeletons left and now our community is much better and lovable, we really stayed as very few people, not to mention I didn't even watch this stream and I'm gonna say my own reasons next)

You see, this stream started at the EXACT SAME TIME as Bettel, Vesper and Bae Barbie Watch-a-long did, so of course some people would prefer to watch that memey stream that a collab of a game that I heard is mid (and give motion sickness). And there's also my reason for me to skip this stream: Hakka's unarchived Karaoke was ALSO at the exact same time, and of course an Unarchived Karaoke has priority to watch live because, well, no Archive (even tho there was a rebroadcast, but we couldn't know there was gonna be one because this was the first time Hakka ever did a rebroadcast).

So yeah, the fans that watch both girls and boys like me might have had a hard time chosing their stream, so even more reason for views to be spreaded.

But anyway that's just my reasoning, also the game looks meh, as much as I love Calli I prefered to see Hakka sing Despacito and Barbie Girl live than seeing her suffer motion sickness on a game I still don't get what it is about, but Calli didn't seem to have enjoyed it that much at the end because she got sick by it.

Basically Cover has to hit a homerun on EN3. EN will still be the biggest Vtuber group in the EN vtubing space, but their influence and audience retention is dwindling fast. If EN3 fails to draw an audience, EN3 will likely be the last EN gen until there are major graduations from the previous groups. Plus, Cover is probably having to sift through mountains of shit applications to find anyone remotly Hololive material because the indie scene is absolute dogshit and no indie vtuber or streamer should be considered.

They need a new gen with some real unity but it's never going to be on the level of the jps. Since they get the benefit of all living near one another and being able to meet up irl often. I wish EN could be the same.

from cover's side they just need to not repeat what they did to market EN2, no pointless teasing, no dragging fans around with trailers announcing an announcement of some vague lore shit
just no lore, just an aesthetic and a theme, and keep the character concepts simple and attractive, I think they learned this lesson already because HoloX was very good and tempus was ok as well
but the art needs to be good, no more bullshit like Irys, no fuck ups like Magni, actually make them look good, HoloX had no shit designs and it went well for them
also the regular collab ban has to be a thing, it actually has a positive impact in the long run
as an added bonus I think they should debut with a song, NijiEN does it and it works very well, copying what works for others is always a good move

when it comes to the cast it has to have the basics: one loli and one girl with huge tits, the rest can fall anywhere in the middle
they should also hire hags, at least 2
they have better work ethic, they are more consistent and a lot of their audience is old and can relate to older women more and they have more life experience and can be more fun
but still throw in a couple of younger girls too
make sure no one is "boring", if a girl is not an animal, a robot, an alien, an elemental or something else she has to have something else to make up for it like being a princess or a ninja otherwise she will lack an identity and it will be a debuff

and here's one of the most important tips: don't hire girls that are talented at something that is not streaming, busy with a more important career and already successful, hire girls who have talent for entertainment but nothing else going for them in life so they actually commit to this
also this is harder to filter but avoid girls with attitude issues who will grow spoiled and conflictive with their audience or lazy down the line, they've had 2 years to filter people maybe they can take another year if necessary, they have the biggest sample of girls interested in joining they can take time filtering the best
look at their biggest JP members, they are girls that had almost nothing else but their charisma, their ethic and their good attitude and they managed to become a massive success with hat alone, some like Marine did have some talents and a career but she actually wanted to be a vtuber more and of course they had good attitude which is a key trait
