Sena was the first really getting people to tune in and Mina was there from the start too contributing to everything seeming real like there was actual people streaming and same as Rika he was there from the start.
Abi was there with the gen 2 and also contributed her part.
Without some of them FlaVR would just be a thing Pippa did one stream for fun.

The models/characters/fake company of course made FlaVR get the numbers it got early on and the characters are premade but that's literally 100% of every non indie vtuber company. Many corpo vtubers leave the company and take the character too, most people would if they were allowed to. But contractual obligations and rights stop it from being a thing but none of that applies for flavr. Having to quit the character isn't something good or that people want it's something forced by the owners.
You are suggesting implementing measures that are the result of intellectual property laws and the policies of companies to a fake company and free to use characters.
They can just take the same rough character design and tweak the name to something different and suddenly it's something they fully own. No one would gain absolutely anything from leaving the character behind, fans lose the vtuber and the vtubers lose their audience and have to deal with an unnecessary change.

When Lumi left Cyberlive and kept her Lumi character it was because she was given that ownership by the company. That was met with pretty much universal approval and praise from everyone but I guess you would have prefered if she had not been given that option. All vtuber companies own the characters of their vtubers. The companies provide the vtubers with those models and marketing and support and much more. They are also entitled to part of their earnings.
That is because the vtuber company literally owns it all. When the vtuber leaves it's up to the company and the contract they had to determine if the vtuber may keep the character.
Sometimes they do, often they do not. If the company does not allow it the vtuber and the fans lose. Flavr characters are in a bizarre legal grey area where no one is really going to enforce any right on them so this problem does not exist. You want to create it.
You are creating an imaginary problem out of your ass and acting like that's a good thing. The thing is free and there's no drawback to people who already played the characters keeping them but your moral route is some nonsensical retardation to pander to some morals you made up.

Early gen grifted of Pippa because she created this thing and it's only thanks to her audience that FlaVR was something people discussed a lot and checked out.
But that was only in the beginning. The grift only lasted until the debut stream. After that keeping that audience engaged and growing it any further was all the talents.
They really founded and built the group and it only grew thanks to them.
Pippa was not involved and she was not contributing anything to it anymore, those who became fans of the group watching weren't the streams because Pippa created the characters they were watching human beings putting a performance and they found that content enjoyable.
Pippa only did two things she made the doodles for FlaVR which she pretty much just created by randomly adding tags and she advertised it to her audience.
For a long time and let's be real for a very long time FlaVR was made of only those initial members.
FlaVR wasn't Pippa's project it was their project loosely inspired by Pippa's ideas.
If new people attempted to join later there are actually more real reasons to call those the grifters instead because they would be attempting to insert themselves into an already established group that was the result of other people working to build it up and they'd be enjoying many more benefits than what the first group did while providing very little in return, they're basically replaceable late adopters that would lack any responsibility over the collective success of the group they are now benefiting from.
