Just a question. We usually have 65~ IPs at the end of the thread. Let's say 20 of those are a shitposter switching IPs, that still leaves us with about 45 people who participated in the thread. Are all those anons just waiting for stories that fit their exact niche to comment, or for series that they like? It feels kind of weird, how few people read stories here. Is everyone just writers busy working on their own fics that don't really like reading all that much? Is it burnout from reading too many fics?

I think in a broader forum 'I like it' would mean less than this smaller general, but if you don't deem the with worthy of commenting on, that's up to you. Just depends on whether you're opinionated type or not. Sometimes bad feedback can fuck people up if it's the only feedback they receive.

Honestly, I don't think there's only one right way to write/research any one chuuba. As characters, there's a lot of recognizable versions of each one, real, pretend, or imagined. You could write them exaggerated like they are in clips, the probably more subdued versions from long streams, how they come across in their lore and scripted content, how different they acted at debut vs now, how they talk about themselves irl vs how they appear on stream, memes and jokes they lean into, how they acted during a personality arc like Haachama's schizo arc or Matsuri's seiso reinvention, and the list goes on. They show many sides of themselves in different ways and at different times and fans interpret those things in their own ways as well, so I think it's fine to just pick the one that best suits your ideas and ignore others if it helps.
