People used to ask the colour of her pantsu in stream chat, and she'd read it and answer (there were a few rare occasions where it was spontaneous from Delta but those weren't the norm). Some Chinese speaking fan decided to illustrate them and they ended up in a channel on the discord.
She never really stopped doing the pantsu gacha, it was her fans who stopped asking. They took it too far, had a moment of self realization, and her fans dialed the whole thing back. Delta reminisced about the pantsu gacha a few times after everyone stopped.

Chitose had graduated recently and Aloe was friends with her and made some comments in her RM account alluring to the fact that Nijisanji is not a purely innocent company. This caused JP nijiniggers to froth and seethe like rabid dogs. They eventually doxxed info on her having an ex-bf she hadn't seen in years and they overblew it to make the unicorns go against her which partially worked.
The suspension came at a horrible timing because of a based retard moment from management and Cover thought it would protect her when in reality it just made her incapable of defending herself, they were all super surprised when she told management she wanted to quit.

So part of the issue is she was extremely candid about it so there is almost too much info.

But yeah suspension put a target on her back, comments about Chitose was like Gasoline, MASS turned it into an EN vs JP idol culture bad thing which threw more gas on the fire, her Family situation was the final death nail and she had a mental break and quit.

In Hindsight Cover should have done more as Delu has admitted if someone tried to stop her (implying she never spoke to Gen 5 after being suspended) she would have stayed.

Fans were left angry very very angry and this started a second wave of harassment of anyone who harassed Aloe also Cover and Delta's family taking legal action against the hamsters.

On the flip side it sort of helped catapult Hololive into the mainstream for EN because this would be the catalyst for the Vtuber domination of algorithms Aloe, EN debut and Taiwan Yab all happened within a few months of each other.

So silver lining there were several crisis that were going to happen in 2020-2021 and being out of the spot light really helped her cope with them especially February-March 2021. Delta makes good money out of her fanbox it isn't Hololive tier but she thinks it is more then she deserves. As Delta has several times admitted she realized she isn't very well suited to Corporate environments she likes to handle things immediately and wants freedom to do what she wants. Guchico the artist for Aloe continued to follow her and approached her in early 2022 to make her Delutaya L2D they also added some nice references to Aloe with the pink highlights, she worked with RedAlice and Features in a song on his album and she came out of the crucible a more well rounded person.

Also she still remains a Hololive fan and is really happy to see what NePoLaBo has been doing. There is a pretty convincing rrat that she even went to HoloFes.

So yeah the main reason it is so confusing is there is A LOT to unpack she's doing great though. Her smile was found and restored.
