Well they first came to build up the audience for the EN market only for HoloEN to steal all of it so makes sense they would get stagnant after a while. Now that EN hasn't received new members in years, ID3 was able to not only capitalize on the domestic market but internationally while also raising the rest of the branch with them

ID is in an interesting spot, they got a lot going for them recently.
Moona's 3D, her model proportions, her dance, her singing it all made a big impression on the public. Then you got Kobo whose design and retarded brat personality worked really well and went super viral. And finally Kaela's insane minecraft autism spread through word of mouth everywhere it was a big topic for a while and got a lot of people to check her out and she grew a lot. I could even mention Kiara having a lesbian vacation with Reine.
So ID as a whole has grabbed a lot of attention recently which benefits the whole branch and some of its members have grown a lot. But the growth hasn't been universal and many still sort of stagnated.
I think it's fair to say that ID had its big break and the members either took that chance and grew a lot or they weren't good enough and lagged behind.
"ID SUCKS" doesn't apply anymore because many ID are comparable to EN, both still can't compare to Hololive JP in quality or numbers but ID being able to reach the same levels as EN is still a remarkable feat.

I dont see whats wrong with them. They’re ID, they were always gonna be a niche. And anyone of them can still pull 4 digits if they play buff games like minecraft and 5 digits for special streams. If we were ranking them against other branches and corpos they’d be top 6 or 7 out of all the branches behind Holo JP, Niji JP, HoloEN, VSPO, Niji EN and Neo Porte (maybe Isegye as well). Their numbers still eclipse any of the small corpos.
