Seriously though, yeah she would probably really like ME if she just got over her reactionary dislike of anything "sci-fi". It's more of a "space opera" anyway than the kind of boring hard sci-fi technobabble that turns her off (but hey, if she made it through Yakuza games which also have "boring" parts like hours of cutscenes of dudes talking about some political intrigues, she can handle Mass Effect), at it's core it's just a universal adventure story that'd work just as well in a fantasy setting. It has some loveable characters she would really enjoy, and you could probably bait her with the promise of being able to romance cute alien girls. The actual shooting mechanics are rather beginner friendly, and can be further tuned with easy mode and stop-time command systems to be not a prohibitive skill hurdle or be frustrating for her, and it has RPG elements so it should not be too unfamiliar for her.

Or hell, if she's dead-set against sci-fi and wants to stick to fantasy, why not give some Dragon Age a try? They are some good entry-level western RPGs if she finally wants to branch out from playing only japanese RPGs. Other than that, Mamatori recommended her some good games. After seeing how much she liked Fief Simulator, she should really give Dishonored a try, she'd really enjoy being a sneakchou and giggle with glee after executing a great run of stealth kills.

It's not that old, and it even got remastered fairly recently, so it should be playable without issues (like actual "old" PC games from the 90s etc have, see Sims1). Yeah, the first ME has some gameplay elements that aren't quite up to the standard of current QoL, but those aren't total dealbreakers (again, like some stuff from the actual 90s were) and she dealt with janky controls in some of her older Nintendo games before. And from the second game onwards the controls are basically fine.

It is quite story-heavy, but she's not a 100% completionist autist and reads through every sidequest etc but would probably just stick to the main story so it's not that bad (plus main story is voiced, which helps with the text) and not worse than her usual jrpgs.

And yeah, the main draw is mostly seeing what choices she'd make and how she reacts. Which reminds me, I'd also like to see her play some of the Cage games like Detroit Become Human. Yeah, they're not good games per se and can be quite stupid, but that's exactly the point, she'd probably really like the stupid stories (like her netflix trash) and the interactive movie aspect and it'd be fun seeing her decisions and reactions.

The funny thing is that just a few weeks ago she was kinda whining about HaneAme not having cosplayed her in a while (presumably because she did Kronii like 3 times) and that she should do it again.
So it's entirely possibly that Hane saw that and immediately decided to make another cosplay. Unless the process for creating a new cosplay set takes much longer than I assume, I guess.
