Ayamy-Mama thankfully has a pretty good beginner's grasp on English. She legitimately does her reps. I had zero interest in Ame, when EN first was announced i was sure Ina was going to be by favorite. Her design is amazing, i'm all for horror shit and a Cthulhu chubba would be perfect for me. I still like Ina of course, but Ame is not only my favorite, she's my oshi. And it was a gradual slow realization. I'll be honest. My first real exposure to Ame was from a >clip I saw back in November where she's reading her detective diaries. I was on my lunch break at work and I was engrossed by her voice, so I couldn't stop watching. The very next day I did the same thing and watched some more random clips of Ame and I found myself chuckling and no longer feelig stressed about work. About a week after that I started tuning into her streams and the rest is history. Now I think about her regularly and her streams are the highlight of my week.

Speaking as a day 1 Teamate, that period was my first exposure to Ame and the time when I "got to know her," so to speak. I think it makes sense that those early months have a lot of sentimental value for people who have been there from the beginning. Streaming, like any form of entertainment, is highly subjective in terms of an individual's enjoyment, and to dismiss a person's thoughts on a particular period in an entertainer's career because of subjective factors is kind of dumb. I like Ame's early streams because they make me nostalgic and sentimental, and that isn't an invalid reason for thinking those streams are great. I do agree that Ame has, in general, gotten better at streaming, though.
