I hate pretending that the groomer allegations are even an issue. Say she did have a friend group, and maybe they were giving her money on the side. Assuming Phase has a legal contract, it wouldn't be a contractual issue either if its happening in her private life. These companies, even in Canada, cannot legally have a control over a talent's private life as long as it is private.
As for any other "stealing funds" allegations, it wouldn't be possible as donations go through Phase Connect before the talent, and you can verify that by donating to any member of Phase. So the company dictates how much of a cut any member receives.
