It's complicated, but no he doesn't hate me. I do have pretty high standards though and there aren't many that can do that without charging exorbitant prices (we are talking like 3-10k for a 3D model). Unfortunately good 3D artists that are doing vtubers are too rare so they get to charge a premium.

I took someone who charges reasonable prices, but they aren't really doing it as a commission so I have to be patient.

I chose quality and price, but I have to wait a lot to get it.

I happen to be in a small, private, non-VTubing related server with this one guy. Extremely jaded, bitter, and pessimistic about everything.

Guy has also been a 2view for a couple of years. Very calm, positive, and encouraging attitude on stream.

I mean I'd argue it's a good thing if you hide your bad traits and focus on entertaining your viewers by being as positive as possible. Personally for me when i'm on stream I'm in the zone, where negative thoughts don't really occur to me. I'm just focused on delivering a good show. All that negativity comes back after I go offline of course, but I don't really engage in communities that would let me vent like that.

In this case streaming is a genuine outlet and a good way to keep the bad thoughts at bay. It might not always work and being a 1view nobody carries it's on negative impact on me, but it's a learning experience. I'll get better and continue to improve my streams for the few people who decided to hang out with me.

This desu. I'm unappealing to associate with offline so it's natural that it carries over into the vtubing world. Rather than be totally bitter about it I'm trying to use it as a learning opportunity and hopefully fix myself somewhat

Im kind of similar in that I act much more positively on stream than elsewhere online. However I think its mostly because in text I come off much more cynical and jaded than I do in person. After working many years in customer service I reflexively am a very positive person when talking. When I have more time to think about what I say when typeing my pessimism and negativity comes through much more. Both are me though, one is just affected more by instinct.
