Fjords are good for building and housing ships so I include them in the cave systems! As for the caves themselves I think it’s more carved by water unless glaciers can do that too. I initially settled on that aesthetics because Serafi supposedly lives in alleyways and underground caves are the closest I can think of that mimics the aesthetics without actually being alleyways or some kinda hive city. /harawata/ chuubanite concepts: not fleshed out and mostly barebones for discussion purposes.
There will be three core concepts to the thread.

>Fanaticism
>Resilience

Each of these represent 3 forms of the same chuuba: Unou, Lulu and Misumi.

Love manifested in the adoration/fear of your Goddess. This is Unou.
Fanaticism is the fire within that burns to defend your nation and the honour of your Goddess. This is Lulu.
Resilience is the stubbornness that is needed to weather the storm and to recover from any downtrodden state. This is Misumi.

One example of the use of this is masks used by the elite warriors. Inside the mask, misumi chuubanite and unou chuubanite inspires the wearer to bravery in battle, gives them hope against all odds, and gives them ridiculous endurance that is superhuman. Outside, lulu chuubanite instill fears into enemies. The use is small but effective.

Alright, I'll start it then.

I am of the opinion, based on the current situation /meat/ is in, that they should be severely, and I mean severely, reduced in both size and power.
Their land borders should be reduced drastically, I believe something like 1/10th or 1/20th of their current borders or less would be ok, with the remainder either being in some corner of their part of the continent or, and this would be my preference, a landlocked area deep in their jungle.
To this end I would also bring up the option for their immediate neighbor of /hfz/ to extend their border into their direction if they so chose. This would, of course, be something the writers of the corresponding threads would decide amongst themselves.

As for their political power, in order to reflect the current state, I am firmly of the belief that it should be all but erased in many if not all parts of the world they interact with. Small splinter cells operating abroad could still exist of course, but their size and influence would be miniscule at best.

And lastly, in regards of their chuubanite and magical powers derived from it. While I do not believe that it should completely degrade and be depleted, the quantity of it should be reduced, and many cons established for those that use it, examples of which would be random unpredictable results, complete cessation of magical effects seemingly at random, higher rates of schizo breakdowns and spontaneous death among catalognauts or those heavily augmented with chuubanite, to name a few.

I think the /meat/ writers can decide what direction to take it. There is no need for a thread to exist for concepts to be active, and we've never modeled countries after a general's activity/presence/population very rigorously anyway. Maybe /meat/ now represents /meat/ post on the board, which still have a presence, maybe the current day in Vitubia is from a period where /meat/ was active (since our timeline is fucked), or maybe the /meat/ writers would just like to write their nation as it is. All of those are valid. They can write it as a wasteland too, if that's what they want.

Given the state of /meat/ or quite frankly the lack of state, I feel like in the current day of Vitubia, whatever that day might be, Matiyotl no longer exists.
/meat/ isn't in the position of graduated generals or even other fetish gens that got scrapped. Unlike /ag/ and /ringo/, /meat/ has no active generals anywhere on the site and the posters who originally made up the first /meat/ threads and kept them alive aren't doing that anymore. There's essentially no ryona posting of /meat/ chuubas or otherwise and the discussion of these chuubas is dead. The actual content that was created and shared, written or otherwise, is coming from one or two people at the pace of a tranquilized slug.
That's not to say that no meat discussion is allowed, meat can be written in the past tense and all that but speaking in all honesty it makes no sense that meat should continue to exist in the same way that it did when it was first being written about.

It feels a bit disingenuous to label this a purely /pcg/ story but sure, I'll give it a read. Immediately I'm met with more than a few questions, like does /pcg/ even have any beef with /meat/? Kinzhal is an assassin, which begs the question of who's hiring him and why. Also, what's going on over in /pcg/ anyway? Last I remember the whole continent was undergoing some sort of language reform. Is the war still canon? As for the story itself, it's a bit too barebones in its current state to read as anything more than a hitpiece, whether that was the intention or not. I'll reserve further judgement on that front for the rewrite though. Hopefully it adds more plot dressings, character motivation, and the like to flesh everything out better. I'm also not sure why you feel the need to anchor something that's going to be completely redone anyway, but that's neither here nor there. The mention of things like remote-activated napalm and petroleum jelly as the incendiary device feels out of place to me as well. They feel a bit too modern for the setting if I'm not mistaken. There may be other similar types of explosives that you could lean on, but you'd have to ask another anon about what to use there. Ultimately I would have to ask what the point of this story is? If it's just to dab on /meat/ then I think we should be discouraging shitting on others just for the sake of it. This thread has enough tribalism and shitflinging already. If you're hoping to develop the star assassins and Kinzhal to use them in other pieces then great, but the current iteration of this story has none of that and things like >>49540077 make it seem like that wasn't your primary intention. There is much more focus on the Matiyotl than the Zvezdnyye, so this feels like more of a /meat/ fic than anything in how this draft is written.

Incredible speech, your grace. 10/10. But seriously, stuff like this makes the Matiyotl feel very flanderized in this story. You may say this is a result of biased narration, but it feels like Kinzhal barely even notices his targets exist. As a professional, I would think he would know better than to underestimate an opponent to this extent. He is guilty of the same foolish pride he chides /meat/ of. Adding more details of the events in the rewrite like "The meat-eating heathens began to drone on and on about how they would exterminate the custodian menace currently assailing their homeland, what prideful arrogance! But he knew this pointless posturing would last a while: the perfect time for Kinzhal to begin setting the next part of his trap." would help make the characters feel less like cardboard cutouts and the characterization of /meat/ more of a result of the protagonist's biases.

not at all, please do not look into my writing as being anything more than stated. This was a rough idea that was thrown out incomplete. The overhaul will change it totally from a meme story to a real one. It was experimental in ways.

To what to expect, simply put that I have ideas for lumis fanbase to have a rite of passage in stealing something valuable and that will be part of the overhaul. The other thing is it will be framed more like Hitman. The reason for why these people get killed (not the same next time) is up for the audience to figure out. I wont be clueing in on it and would rather that part remain mysterious. I have not wrote any proper story since july last year so this is trying to experiment with writing in this piece to see what happens.

1. Do we have a side-by-side graphic of each so we can see the differences? Which areas are most affected by this shift and are there any whose lore would get shafted? Basically, what are the pros and cons of these two models? I think I remember climeat saying that there wasn't a singular model that would work perfectly for Vitubia anymore, so what makes this a good tradeoff and what exactly is this change meant to achieve? I'm against change for its own sake, but I feel like either way we're going to end up with a handful of unhappy anons.
2. What about them? With the provincing we have plenty of unclaimed territory just laying around, so I say leave them as-is. No reason to start parceling them out now, especially if the nearest landmasses aren't governed by a thread yet. They should essentially be treated the same as any other unassigned territory, so if someone wants one then they give their reasoning to the people in that region and they decide amongst themselves if it's justified.
3. We still really haven't had a chance to see it in action iirc. I don't particularly mind it either way, but I think it needs to be made clearer what the actual process is to reach such a decision and make it "official". Under the rep system we could look to the vote anchor to know what decisions had been made and had a clear timeframe for when the discussion was finished, but with regional voting it seems to be more someone posting "hey can i do this" in the thread and a couple replies saying "sure, go for it lmao". It's harder to keep track of what's going on and doubly so if nothing is attached to the vote anchor to let people know at a glance if they're being asked to chime in on something.

i'm not particular about changing the current time because someone already decides to write in the future basicly and moving it along for everyone, i wasn't a big fan of the last change either because it was mostly just because of OG's timeline too.

i am however in favor of simply abolishing the idea of current time completly because that way people are free to write in whatever timeframe they are most comfortable with. can move time ahead for their story and lore purposes as they see fit and also it finally removes tech limit timeloops because if you want to write about certain tech stuff you can just write in a timeframe you think is fit for your nation and that tech.

A "current time" exists generally to allow new writers a basic option if they don't really know where to start and to have a general idea of continuity.

We essentially have always been in an average time frame, the particular "current" date was incredibly arbitrary, and everyone understood that it was. I'm just saying there was a reason that we all agreed to a current time or chronological period to write in so that we could understand that the version of a country someone was writing was the same version that existed with someone else's country.
We've always been able to write outside of period and most nations with a fair bit of lore behind them have done so already, basically, I don't really see how any change to an average or later date would have any effect since we'd just be doing what we were already doing.

but when it comes to writing "ahead" to me at least the current perception is that it comes with many restrictions because you either need to stagnate your nation if you jsut write a bit ahead since you still kind of are bound by the tech limit kkidn of or you have to set it so far ahead it is comptletly disconnected from the actual lore

as someone already said above, they are already writing likek 20 years ahead but if that lore is to be connected with the majority of the lore then they have to basicly stick to the same restrictions the "current" time has or accept it is its own disconnected thing not really part of the main lore.

on the other hand if we move the time ahead everytime because someone now has reached the next decade in their timeline then this basicly means current time only really is a thing for those fast enough in writing because they now dictate the current time for all. this will disconnect the project far worse in my eyes because those slower either have to write in the past disconnected form the current time or they may as well quit the project because they don't have time to keep up with each new move

Hmmm, now that I think on it, since the Candy Kingdom uses confectionary based tools we'd have confectionary workshops as well.
A smith, then a cookie smith, sometimes called a cake smith or a candy smith and so on. They'd work in a forge but it might be a milk forge, and it'd be part candyshop and part armory where men lower their steaming bake smith crafts into cool milk or some such thing.
