You could make it work but the tradeoff is status over money. Vtubing/streaming isn't really respected as a job despite the money, a doctor earns less but is more respected.
You could also see further compromise given vtubers have no real presence IRL so a bunch of them would look good next to anyone with a decent job, it's not like they can break their NDA to inform people that actually they are a huge vtuber.

Other issues arise from the difficulty of balancing streaming and relationships, any issues guys may have of a girl posting R18 content (some may be ok with her doing porn audio, others not so much), then you have the physical issues where I can't imagine many streamers are healthy and it would be easy to let yourself go with that lifestyle.

Meniere's Disease. As a quick rundown if you've never taken whatever your college's equivalent of Biology 223, basically in the inner ear there's a place called the vestibular apparatus which has fluid moving around in it. What happens with Meniere's is there's too much fluid building up and that's bad when it's in the middle of your skull. This can cause dizziness, confusion, loss of equilibrium and a sense of vertigo, and all that pressure on the inside of your ears will eventually start causing hearing loss. Noel said she takes diuretics for it which basically inhibits your body's ability to reabsorb sodium, and water travels wherever sodium does so it drains fluid from her body. It's a shitty disease to have but at least we live in a time where it can be medically managed.

There are surgeries that can create a more permenant solution but that's really only something you do when diuretics are no longer working.
